Naturopathic Medicine, Board of

The Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine consists of seven volunteer board members, including five licensed naturopathic physicians and two public citizen members. The board was established by the 1927 Legislature to regulate the practice of naturopathic medicine in Oregon. The board carries out its duties by conducting examinations, performing criminal background checks, licensing, requiring continued education, conducting investigations of complaints and issuing disciplinary measures in cases when violations are found.
