Accountancy, Board of

The Oregon Board of Accountancy was created in 1913 by the Oregon Legislature. The board, with a staff of nine, protects the public through licensure of approximately 8,000 Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Public Accountants (PAs) and through registration of approximately 1,000 public accounting firms.
