The ski jumper is high in the air with both ski poles outstretched and his legs outstretched as well, one ski high up and one ski down. The skier is on the right side of a Mt. Hood stream, hoping to make it across. There is a thick grove of trees, dark in color on the left of the photo, and a thick mountain of trees behind the skier, light in color.
