Abstract/Description: This report is intended to statistically summarize the results of a side-by-side test of the skid resistance testing trailer utilized by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), and the stopping distance car utilized by the Oregon State Police (OSP). The ODOT skid trailer is used for testing skid resistance of pavement surfaces. The OSP method is used for collision reconstruction.
