Abstract/Description: | Provides an updated and spatially accurate geologic framework for the southwestern Oregon coast between Crook Point and Port Orford in westernmost Curry County. Geologic mapping summarized here includes work in the Port Orford OE W, Port Orford, Father Mountain, Ophir, Brushy Bald Mountain, Gold Beach, Signal Buttes, Cape Sebastian, and Sundown Mountain U.S. Geological Survey 7.5' quadrangles and represents one part of a multi-year project to map the Oregon coast from the California border north to Coos Bay. | |
