King's Valley covered bridge

King's Valley covered bridge over Luckiamute River in Benton County, Oregon. Benton County workers constructed the 75 foot Howe truss bridge in 1925 at a cost of $10,200 to replace an earlier covered bridge built in 1914. Workers enlarged the portal openings to allow bus and truck traffic in later years and eventually replaced the bridge with a concrete structure in 1966., Courtesy of State Library of Oregon.
