Dallas Pumping Station covered bridge

Dallas watershed/pumping station covered bridge, otherwise known as the Pumping Station bridge, which served the City of Dallas, Oregon. The 84 foot Howe truss bridge was privately owned and spanned Rickreall Creek in Polk County, Oregon just west of Dallas, off Robb Mill Road. The narrow 1916 bridge was covered with corregated metal and eventually collapsed in 1986, probably from lack of maintenance., Courtesy of State Library of Oregon.
