Hoskins covered bridge

Hoskins Covered bridge over the Luckiamute River in Benton County, Oregon, is a 75 foot span built in 1938 for $3,815 to replace an earlier covered bridge built in 1900. The bridge was wrecked by the Columbus Day Storm, October 12, 1962, and was replaced by a concrete bridge completed in 1963. Location: T10S R6S S30, "Two miles beyond Kings Valley a side road leads to nearby Hoskins, where a fort was erected in 1856. General P.H. Sheridan + General Fredrick T.
