"The Oregon Department of Education is implementing this weekly collection to better understand every school's COVID-19 School Status. The state needs additional data to provide better service and to better understand the impacts of COVID-19 on school communities so we can take more steps to safely open to in-person instruction"--Agency website.

"Starting with the week of 10/4 to 10/10 the weekly status update file has two tabs at the bottom of the sheet. The first tab is a summary with the number of schools operating under each instructional model and allowable exception to the metrics as well as the number of students attending on site under each model or exception.
