This photo is of four men standing behind a large basket of hops and two men sitting in front of the basket on hop sacks, with a young women sitting between them. The man seated on the left holds a pad and pencil, and may be the man responsible for keeping track of the pickers daily tally of hops picked. He carries a satchel with a stenciled "4" on it, probably for keeping the Section's records safe and out of the weather.
