Advocacy Commissions

The Oregon Advocacy Commissions Office (OACO) was created in 2005 to support the Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs, Commission on Black Affairs, Commission on Hispanic Affairs and Commission for Women.

In that role, OACO supports each commission’s work by advising the governor, Legislature and departmental leadership on policies affecting communities of color and women; growing leadership from their communities within government; and building success for those communities.
